The primary challenge of expanding access to life-saving treatments is to improve pharmaceutical and laboratory systems to deliver critical ART medicines, while at the same time building capacity to deliver high-quality care over the long term. MSH works with health managers and staff in developing countries to ensure that HIV-positive patients receive the full amount of appropriate, high-quality drugs, at the lowest possible cost, and that patients take the medicines correctly: “the right medicines in the right way at the right time.” MSH assists decision-makers and health providers by offering technical assistance, training, and tools to manage and deliver HIV & AIDS pharmaceuticals.
